Windows Boot manager: BootMgr
Windows Boot Loader: WinLoad.exe
Boot Configuration File: BCD
2. Describe what you should do if the screen is blank at stage 1 of boot.
Step 1: Unplug everything, dust and re-seat basic items, HD and VGA card, along with mouse/keyboard and of course, monitor.
Step 2: Try again with cover open and see if machine runs at all, pay attention to see if motherboard fans/GC fans are running. Listen to see if the system beeps.
